Vibe RustRead-First Rust

AI writes the Rust; you learn to read, review, and verify it.

🧑‍💻

Who this is for

You already know at least one other language, you are new to Rust and its ecosystem, and you have no settled method for vibe coding — you want AI to write the Rust. This book is written for exactly that reader.

📖

The contract: read, don't write

You don't have to write Rust; you do have to read it. The AI writes. You explain how data flows, who owns it, and how errors propagate — and you arbitrate the AI's diff with cargo check / test / clippy.

🐦‍⬛

The running project: jackdaw

Chapter by chapter, the book dissects a real Rust project, jackdaw — a minimal, transparent local AI gateway: OpenAI-compatible traffic in and out, hand-configured providers, group/ routing with failover.
